YOLOtek Releases New Saltwater-friendly OL’ SALTY
Latest addition to the acclaimed AquaStick line helps ocean anglers capture unique footage.
SHAWNEE MISSION, Kan. (July 15, 2015) – Kansas City-based company YOLOtek announced today the release of its latest product, OL’ SALTY, designed to allow anglers to capture unique photos and videos from ocean boats. The latest addition to the AquaStick line, which enables members of the fishing industry to record footage from multiple angles, OL’ SALTY extends up to 8 feet and holds action sport cameras securely in place, enabling them to take ocean footage without leaving the boat.
“We’re excited to reach a new target in the market with OL’ SALTY,” said Christian Corley, YOLOtek’s owner and product developer. “We’ve been able to significantly help the freshwater anglers with the previous products, and now we've been able to extend our innovative services to the saltwater folks.”
Originally inspired by Hall of Fame angler Bill Dance, OL’ SALTY is the fourth product to be released by YOLOtek, whose AquaStickPRO was named one of the top 13 new products at the 2015 Bassmaster Classic Outdoor Expo in February. After earning a loyal and enthusiastic following of elite anglers including five-year pro Casey Scanlon, YOLOtek was named the Official Power Mount Provider of Major League Fishing in June and will be featured in the league’s upcoming season.
“The industry has been incredibly welcoming to us as we’ve launched our initial products this year,” said Corley, who founded YOLOtek as a way of helping his father and brother—both tournament bass anglers—keep their phones charged while on the water. “It’s our goal to help them more easily capture the fun and excitement of angling through devices and technology. We think OL’ SALTY helps achieve that."
OL’ SALTY will be released at the new product show at the ICAST Conference in Orlando, Fl., beginning July 15.
