AmazonREVIEWS

Amazon is great, but they stopped allowing the company to respond to reviews. We don't think this is fair, as the potential customer can get bad information to make their decision. So, below is every review and questions.

Review Frankie G. Aug 4, 2023...
Device does not work with my GoPro 10. Company rep asked me to downgrade my firmware on the GoPro 10 to theoretically make them compatible. Because the firmware update was recommended by GoPro and my GoPro 10 was functioning properly, I was not willing to change my firmware--so I have a JuiceBank that is worthless to me. Should have been disclosed before I bought the device for my GoPro 10.

YOLOtek Response:
Mr. G said the device does not work with GoPro 10,, that is NOT TRUE. The GoPro Hero 10 works PERFECTLY fine on JUICEBANK with the camera battery inside. What he means, is that he would like to use external power with the GoPro battery removed. GoPro & YOLOtek recommend keeping the camera battery inside, as this gives you longer record time. There are times where you should take the camera battery out, such as when you record video in 4k to help reduce overheating. To remove the battery on the GoPro Hero 10, 11 & 12  you must UPGRADE to the latest GoPro labs firmware. This is GoPro firmware and works great. Mr. G said we asked him to downgrade his firmware and the confusion is that the Hero 10

ANY REVIEW that says that JUICEBANK does NOT work with their camera, is NOT correct and NOT giving all the details. Our founder Christian, will work with anyone personally to make sure your camera records all-day-long. Here are some details...

Details with GoPro Battery INSIDE the GoPro while recording on JUICEBANK or any other external power bank:

GoPro Hero 12/11/10/9/8/7/6/5/4/3+/3 & EVERY action camera works great at 1080p/60 and with a 256gb SanDisk Extreme will record for 10 hours straight.

Details with GoPro Battery OUT of the camera the GoPro while recording on JUICEBANK or any other external power bank: (YOLOtek & GoPro recommend running the camera WITH the battery inside the GoPro, but there are times that we recommend running without the battery. 1. GoPro Hero 12/11/10 just need to install the GoPro labs most up to date firmware and it WORKS PERFECT on GoPro Hero 12/11/10 and with a 256gb SanDisk Extreme will record for 10 hours straight. YES! It works ALL-DAY-LONG!

  1. GoPro Hero 9/8/7/6/5/4/3+/3 & EVERY action camera works great at 1080p/60 and with a 256gb SanDisk Extreme will record for 10 hours straight.

Details on how power works on a GoPro:

If you start up your GoPro or other action camera and it has 90% battery and then you plug into JUICEBANK, the lighting bolt TURNS ON indicating the GoPro battery is charging. When you hit the shutter button on top to start the GoPro recording, the lighting bolt TURNS OFF indicating the GoPro is being POWERED by the external power and NOT the GoPro battery. Some in the reviews think that this means JUICEBANK is not working, but that is NOT true.

EXAMPLE: If you turn on your GoPro and the battery shows 90%, then you plug it into JUICEBANK and the lighting bolt TURNS ON, then you hit the shutter button to start the GoPro recording and the lighting bolt TURNS OFF and you record for 4 hours... when you hit the shutter button to STOP recording, you will see the GoPro battery is still at or near 90%. This is how GoPro and other action cameras were designed to prevent overheating, as charging the battery creates heat; so they would not charge the battery while you are recording. Make sense? If not, contact us!!!
